1. Data protection at a glance

This privacy policy informs you about how we handle your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

Kreditkartenvergleich.io is a purely informational comparison website without user accounts, without an ordering process and without tracking for advertising purposes. We collect as little data as possible.

2. Responsible party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
DIGITAL CENTURION LP
2967 Dundas St. W. #1777
Toronto, ON M6P 1Z2
Kanada / Canada
Email: request@kreditkartenvergleich.io

3. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted on a dedicated server. The web server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically error-free and secure operation of the website). The log data is automatically deleted after a short time, unless it is required to investigate security incidents.

4. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Only technically necessary mechanisms are used (e.g. to store your language selection in your browser's local storage). No consent is required for this (ยง 25 (2) TDDDG).

5. External links to providers

On our card and comparison pages, we link to the official websites of the respective credit card providers (e.g. via the "Apply now" button). When you follow such a link, you leave our website. The respective provider is solely responsible for data processing on the providers' pages. Please inform yourself there about their data protection regulations.

We do not use any tracking parameters or affiliate cookies for these links.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details (email address, content of the message) exclusively to process your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding) or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, if the request is aimed at a contract. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations conflict with this.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing. You also have the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).

You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of data protection (see contact above).

8. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de.
